CemSites configures its wayfinding interface for kiosk hardware, with a touchscreen-friendly layout and the option to print map pages showing the visitor’s destination and the suggested walking path. Placement decisions matter: a kiosk inside the office serves only visitors who arrive during business hours and think to enter the building, while a kiosk at the main gate serves every visitor regardless of when they arrive or whether they know where the office is.
The kiosk runs the same search and mapping tools as the mobile interface, drawing from the same live data. CemSites does not maintain a separate kiosk application with its own data source. The kiosk and the mobile grave locator are two access points to the same system, which means the cemetery manages one set of records and both visitor channels stay accurate without additional maintenance.
