An aerial image of a cemetery is visually informative but not operationally useful until it is connected to the cemetery's records. CemSites transforms the drone imagery into an interactive map by overlaying plot boundaries, section divisions, and inventory data onto the photograph. Each plot becomes a selectable element that links to the underlying record in the management system.
The interactive map serves both internal and public-facing functions. Staff use it to verify plot locations, check availability, and navigate the property digitally. Visitors use it through the public website to find a grave or browse available inventory. CemSites builds both views from the same drone-based map layer.
